Hinoki Thin Chopping Board - Large

Japanese Cypress, or Hinoki wood is used in many applications in Japan including kitchen tools and building materials. It was used to build shrines and temples including Osaka Castle, which has stood strong for over 1300 years. It has a unique fragrance, it is highly moisture and humidity resistant and the phyoncide found in Hinoki has a strong antibacterial effect which inhibits mold or bacteria growth.
